The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) Australia keeps manufacturers on top of their game
The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) believes that collaboration is the key to operational excellence. To that end, AME Australia — an affiliate of AME North America — gives members the chance to share ideas and take advantage of practical learning opportunities through conference and networking events. In all its activities, the AME emphasises these core values:
- Practitioner Focus
- Integrity & Trust
- Passion for Excellence
- Engaging & Welcoming
Forging Productive Connections
Today more than ever, organisations require increased productivity and specialised solutions. The AME’s power lies in the mentoring relationships among members and their respective organisations. In fact, the AME is the only organisation that provides a company’s leaders with access to first-class educational programs and events where attendees learn from industry thought leaders about the latest cutting-edge improvement ideas.
AME Australia is known as the premier organisation for exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge in the enterprise excellence space. Members meet regularly to explore lean thinking, discuss improvement methods, and exchange best practice ideas and concepts. They network with like-minded individuals, with the aim of not only furthering their own careers, but improving the overall competitiveness and value add of their respective organisations.
The AME helps practitioners and business enterprises alike understand, optimise, and improve their capability and overall business performance so they can deliver sustainable improvements over the long term.
The AME Australia is run by a group of volunteers from business and academia who provide their support and energy, along with that of their respective organisations, in order to help local and regional businesses grow and prosper in what is a very challenging global marketplace.
